Hi Everyone!
So due to my procrastination and lack of writing skills this is my first post on my progress of my "30 before 30". I guess better late then never. I have been working on my tasks and have about 10 more months to complete everything!! Wow...so only 10 month until I am 30!! Ok don't wanna think about that right now!!
#1->Learn How to Drve Shawn's car(manual)--In Progress
I am proud to say that I drove home from a school parking lot(after going in circles around the school), and we made it home in one piece! I still need to work on the initial start up as I tend to stall a bit, but once I get going I do pretty good. I still need some practice so I am not calling this task complete yet. I am hoping to have it fully mastered soon!! Thanks Shawny for all your help and patience..and sorry Aubree for any whiplash that you may have endured....
#16->Get Aubree Baptized--COMPLETE!
We had Aubree Baptized November 16th at Salem United Methodist Church which just happens to be next door to us. It was a very nice ceremony and we felt very welcomed into the community. She looked beautiful in her gown which was the same one that her big sister Kaylee wore 10 years ago! Thankyou to her godparents my sister Marie and brother-in-law Dale. I know you will love and be there for Aubree always.
#23->Have a Picnic somewhere we have never been before--COMPLETE!!
This was my first goal on my list that I completed!! This is where the picture above was taken. We went to Ladew Gardens in Jarrettsville. This place was awesome!!! I highly recommend that you take a visit here. They have different themed gardens throughout and is really just a cool place. A child can let their imagination run wild and it is a photographer's dream! Bring your blanket and find a spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors!!
#25->Help Kaylee bring her grades up in School--COMPLETE!!
I am sooo proud of my Kaylee. She is showing a bigger interest in school and really wants to get good grades. On her last report card she got an "A" in math which is a huge accomplishment for her!!! SHe is working so hard at every subject and even went to her reading teacher to see what she needed to do to get her grade up. She is growing up so fast!!
#28->Get Married--COMPLETE!!
I am now Mrs. Allison Glass!!!! October 29th 2010 we tied the knot at a simple ceremony with our parents and grandparents. I am very excited and happy to be starting our life together!! We will be having some sort of reception sometime this year to celebrate with everyone. Love you Shawn.
So far so good..now I need to plan eveything else out so I can make sure I get it all done!! And I will TRY not to have so much time pass in between posts.
